Please be in prayer for our farmers battling flooded crops in the Midwest as it continues to rain. We are thankful for rain, but sometimes it can be a little too much at once! The adult Sunday school lesson was taken from the book of Genesis and was titled “Joseph and His Coat of Many Colors.” The middle school lesson was over Jonah 4 and we discussed how the whole story of Jonah can impact our lives today.

For Sunday morning worship Brother Clayton Tunnell gave us the announcements. Remember that vacation Bible school starts this week from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each night and the theme is “On God’s Team.” It was also Clayton Tunnell’s 24th birthday on the June 22.

After the announcements, Brother Clayton read the prayer list, which included Fred Replogle, Brian Showers, Jenny Johnson, Scottie Jean, Robin Long’s dad, our church, and many others not mentioned. After announcements, Sister Kitty Cotter led us in a couple of hymns.

For morning worship Reverend Tim Johnson gave us a message on the second coming of Christ taken from Revelation 4 and Matthew 24. Evening services were canceled due to the flooding.

We would like to invite you to join us for church on Sunday mornings at 10 and 11 a.m. and also on Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. Please remember this week that Jesus loves you very much and desires to have a personal relationship with you! Knock ... and he’s sure to come in! Have a good week.
