Two of our youth sang a beautiful special Sunday morning. It was wonderful to see the youth willingly participate in the church. The sermon was appropriate for this coming week and was centered around freedom.

“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or obedience unto righteousness” — Romans 6:16.

We have the freedom to make choices every day. Do you choose to sin, or do you try to make a conscious effort to avoid sin? True freedom is obtained when you accept Jesus Christ.

Wednesday evening, Baptist Men, Women on Mission and youth will meet at 7 p.m. In celebration of July 4, fellowship and fireworks will follow. Saturday, the men’s breakfast will be at 7 a.m. Sunday school is held each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
