The Ozarks 3rd Mini Maker Faire is a one-day, family-friendly event that celebrates arts, crafts, food, engineering, music, science, technology and the D.I.Y. mindset. It’s part of a grassroots effort to promote creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation throughout the entire Ozarks region by showcasing and spotlighting both amateur and professional STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and math) projects and creations. Over the last two years over 5,000 creative people have participated!
It’s a unique learning opportunity for people ages 2-92 who are interested in 3D printing, CNC machining, robotics, technology, woodworking, metalworking, ceramics and anything that inspires creativity and innovation. We are showcasing “makers” in the region, connecting hobbyists, high-tech businesses and education professionals to demonstrate the future of innovation in the Ozarks.
The Mini Maker Faire is organized and managed by The Ozarks SySTEAMic Coalition (O-STEAM). Facilitators include business/industry/manufacturing sectors focused on STEAM, area school districts, higher education institutions and professionals, and after-school/informal education representatives.
