A new pet grooming salon opened in Marshfield, providing grooming services in a low-stress environment with minimal to no kenneling of the pets.

House of Mongrels provides the basic full-service baths and grooms, but also available are unique maintenance reward packages. House of Mongrels’ maintenance programs have been created to help pet parents afford regular grooming expenses and keep their pets happy, healthy and stylish.

House of Mongrels provides a variety of rewards programs. All programs are for a year. With the nail trim maintenance program, pet parents get two free nail trims for every 10 trims purchased within the year. The bath and grooming rewards program gets pet parents one free bath or groom for every seven bath or grooms purchased within the year.

Regular grooming promotes healthy skin and coat, but also early detection of any issue needing veterinarian attention. Regular nail care can help the pet’s posture, relieve pressure on the toe joints and reduces risk of painful nail snags, cracks or breaks, according to a release from the salon.
