The September meeting of the Webster County Historical Society will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 29, at the Webster County Justice Center, located at 203 E. Jefferson St., Marshfield.
Come prepared to travel back in time for “Music of the World War I and II Era.” Our guest speaker will be Robert Jones, whose program will include a presentation and live music. Mr. Jones has written 50-plus books on various historical topics. The public is welcome to attend.

Put on your thinking caps and join us for Trivia & Tacos on Saturday, October 5, at Son-Rise Christian Church, 673 Jump Rd., Marshfield. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. with trivia beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event promises to be an evening of fun, food, fellowship, and facts galore! All proceeds will benefit the Webster County Historical Museum. There will be cash prizes for the winning teams, and raffle prizes have been generously donated by area businesses, which include Marshfield Chevrolet, Zimmerman Meats, Autozone, A Graceful Touch, Marshfield Clinic Pharmacy, Domino’s Pizza, The Shabby Sheep, Ruth’s Flowers & Gifts, Planet Gumball, Little Caesars, Sheila’s Place, The Sport Shack, Winston and Friends, as well as History Museum on the Square in Springfield, and B&B Theatres.
