The SPA Company on Spur Drive

Posted

The SPA Company is opening with a grand event on Saturday, May 29. Owner Maci Gunari graduated from Marshfield High School and started her Esthetician career in 2013 after completing the esthetic program at the Academy of Hair Design in Springfield and obtaining her Medical Aesthetic License from the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ.

“I’ve been working on this for quite some time and it just manifested… I worked for Grove Spa for almost seven years and I always knew this was the direction I wanted to go after high school,” she stated. “We are humbled and very grateful for the opportunity to open the doors at The SPA Company’s grand opening event. This has truly been a dream of mine for more than eight years and I’m beyond excited to start on this journey and bring a little slice of my heaven to my hometown.”

The SPA Company is located at 1329 Spur Drive Suite #200, next to Orschelns. It is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment specifically for your spa treatment needs. Their services boast fully stocked, top-of-the-line, well-researched and formulated skin care products.

“Clients can actually purchase these skincare products to continue facial regimens in their own homes,” Gunari added. “These are also available for bulk purchases to supply business owners, such as salons or spas so their clients can benefit from the vary same products they love.”

The Grand Opening will feature appetizers, refreshments, a meet and greet, in addition to a tour of the Spa. There will be samples of beauty products given out, a coupon good for one free Small Area Wax while supplies last, and all guests in attendance will be entered in to a drawing, where one lucky person will win a One Hour Signature Luxe Facial. Those who visit can inquire about getting a free consultation as well and view a full menu of products and services The SPA Company has to offer.

According to Gunari, her colleague Lexi Day is a local esthetician eager to assist with all your esthetic needs. Lexi began her career in early 2020. Together, their mission will be to promote stress-relief, life balance, beautification, and therapeutic healing. The two highly skilled professionals offer individual customized aesthetic and spa treatments in which are created according to and determined by the client’s skin type. Whether it is facials, relaxing massage treatments, soothing aromatherapy or any of the other professional services, they are designed specifically to cater to each client.

Along with estheticians, The SPA Company is also home to licensed massage therapist, Kim Jordan. Jordan graduated from the Wellspring School of Allied Health in Springfield in 2018. Suffering from chronic migraines for years, she set out to find holistic ways to help subside the pain and be able to perform daily activities without pain and discomfort. Through massage, Jordan uses her integrated techniques to help clients achieve stable homeostasis, helping the body to remind itself how amazing and self healing it can be.

If your schedule doesn’t allow time after work or on the weekend, a few of our treatments only take about thirty minutes and can be performed on your lunch break,” added Gunari. “Currently services are only available by appointment to allow for proper sanitation and cleaning between each client.”
