This past week, many tees were struck as Marshfield, Logan-Rogersville, and Strafford boys golf teams participated in several matches and tournaments.
Strafford would swing hard and find themselves taking first place in Seymour’s Tournament on April 6.
Over on the other green Logan-Rogersville would compete in Clever on April 4. The Wildcats would have had great results as Bryce Marshal would tie for first place with a score of 79, While Brady Goodson took thirteen with an 88. Then on April 6, L-R competed in the Missouri State Relays, where the team took the bronze medal. Two of its players, Tyler Davis, placed fifth, and Ben Roche received sixth place.
L-R and Marshfield would have their JV compete in the Springfield Catholic tournament on April 5. The Wildcats would place third overall while Marshfield’s team would have a final score of 420. For individual medals, L-R members Brady Goodson tied for 3rd, and Ryder Randles tied for 6th.
Marshfield had its victories this week as they competed in the Cassville Invitation on April 6 and would win second place overall. Two of their players, Wyatt Davis, earned fifth place, and Michale Alves took eighth place.
