The Webster County Library is holding a bookmark contest which started May 15 and ends on May 24. The bookmarks will be displayed at both library branches in Marshfield and Rogersville, and voting is open to the public; all you need to do is ask the front desk for a ballot. The theme for the bookmarks is All Together and features artwork from local artists. The event was spearheaded by Library Clerk Erin Baker, who expressed her excitement for the contest “I love seeing all the creativity and how everyone interpreted the theme in their way.”
The event will wrap up just in time for Summer Reading which starts on June 1. The Library is planning many events to keep everyone entertained.
Starting in June, events include:
Preschool Storytime - Mondays and Wednesdays at Marshfield 10 a.m.
Storytime - Tuesdays at Rogersville 10:30 a.m.
June 1, Teen Tomodachi Club at Marshfield 5 p.m.
June 6, Stuffed Animal Sleepover at Marshfield 5 p.m.
June 13, Family Movie at Marshfield 10 a.m.
June 14, Marty the Magician will be at both locations. Times to be announced later
June 16, Games Guild at Marshfield 10 a.m.
June 20, Adult Craft Night at Marshfield 5 p.m.
June 22, Keep Calm and Carry Yarn at Marshfield at 5 p.m.
June 26, Adult Crafts at Rogersville 1 p.m.
June 28, Kid Painting Class at Rogersville 2 p.m.
June 30, Library Fort Night at Rogersville 2 p.m.
