Pull a success

Parting clouds, an orange sunset and the perfect temperature made for a pleasant evening at the fairgrounds as Webster Lodge #98 hosted the 24th annual “Pullin for Kids” Saturday evening. Lodge Master Pat Blinzler was very pleased with the evening's event and the turnout, “Attendance is way up this year, we had thirty hooks and put on a better show, being a little muddy made it more fun.” Blinzler also wanted to again thank the community for their support, “sponsorships were up, the gate and kitchen were up and many of the pullers donated their winnings back. We won't have a final tally until we pay the bills, but this will mean a lot to the children” The funds are slated to go to the Backpack Programs of Marshfield and Niangua.
