Missouri Route 125 Intersection Improvement Project In Strafford Focus of Virtual (Online) Public Meeting January 18-31

 Strafford,  – MoDOT is seeking public input on Missouri Route 125 improvements that are being evaluated to reduce traffic delays and increase safety at various intersections in Strafford. Those interested in a project to improve intersections along Missouri Route 125 in Strafford are invited to view the proposed improvements and project information via a virtual (online) public meeting from Tuesday, January 18, until Monday, January 31, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

For those unable to access the online meeting, they are encouraged to contact MoDOT’s Southwest District Office at 417.895.7600 and accommodations will be made to share the information and gather feedback.

Project highlights:

Route 125 intersections being evaluated are:

  • I-44
  • North Outer Road (Evergreen St)
  • Route 125 between Chestnut Street and Washington Avenue

MoDOT is seeking public input on six proposed concepts. Construction of the first phase of these improvements is scheduled to begin in 2024 with potential future projects being developed from the remaining prioritized concepts.

The estimated project cost is $2,140,000.
