Marshfield boys swim team competed in the Big 8 Conference on October 18.
The results from the meet are as follows:
Preston Dotson was 1st Team All Conference in the 200 IM (PR), & 2nd Team All Conference in the 100 Butterfly.
The 200 & 400 Freestyle Relays were each 2nd Team All Conference. Drew Henry, Ethan Rockwood, Wyatt Davis & Preston Dotson. (PR)
Josiah Howald was 2nd team all conference in the 100 Backstroke.
Drew Henry was Honorable Mention All Conference in the 100 Freestyle and also took 4th in the 50 Freestyle.
Wyatt Davis was Honorable Mention in the 200 Freestyle & took 4th place in the 100 Freestyle
Hayden Davis was Honorable Mention the 100 Butterfly and 4th place in the 100 breaststroke.
Ethan Rockwood was Honorable Mention in the 100 Breaststroke (PR) & took 6th place in the 50 Freestyle.
Cougar VanNest was Honorable Mention in the 500 Freestyle.
Erik Johnson took 4th place in the 500 Freestyle. (PR).
200 Medley Relay was Honorable Mention All Conference- Josiah Howald, Hayden Davis, Erik Johnson, & Cougar VanNest.
Garrett Clark had a PR in his 50 Freestyle & 100 Freestyle.
The blue jays swim team took third place overall, losing second place to Nevada by just four points.
The team will go on to compete at the Southwest MO Meet this week. The preliminary races are held on Friday October 28 and the finals will take place on Saturday October 29 for anyone who makes top 18 on Friday.
