Five D&D channels

Posted

From Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Magicians, Arcane, and The Legends of Vox Machina, fantasy has been a part of pop culture for most of our lives. Fantasy lends itself not only to shows and movies but even games. Dungeons and Dragons are but just one of those games. Maybe you’ve thought about getting into D&D but weren’t sure if you feel up to all the dice rolls, sheets, or acting out. Perhaps you might reconsider after checking out this list I have compiled. At the very least, I hope this list will give more appreciation to the idea. This list is in no particular order, but here are five D&D Youtube channels you can check out.

D&D Official -No better place to check out D&D than from the source. The official D&D channel hosts playthroughs like Legends of the Multiverse and The Black Dice Society. The channel also interviews various members of D&D, including upcoming projects and behind-the-scenes.

Mr.Rhexx -This channel covers the lore and deep dives into the world of D&D. From monsters to different locations. It is covered here. Mr.Rhexx gives you the basics and some deep knowledge you could only find through lots of digging.

Geek & Sundry -Maybe you want more than D&D, Geek and Sundry delivers a mix of D&D and indie games. It has how to play board games, celebrity D&D, and playthroughs of various roleplaying games. What makes this one fun is that some of the board game creators join in and play some sessions.

Dungeons and Ale -Roleplay games are fun, but what if booze existed? Dungeons and Ale is the channel for you. The channel is run by Benny from Comicstorian. Most episodes will start with a drink recipe, then proceed with shenanigans. The games are homebrewed, meaning they’re not bound by the traditional rules, which honestly appeals to the more hair-brained or chaotic side in all of us.

Critical Role -With The Legend of Vox Machina, an Amazon series under their belt. Critical Role is an ongoing D&D channel featuring voice actors, including Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, and Travis Willingham. The channel features campaigns spanning multiple episodes, Helpful tips, and general fun. Regardless of what you watch on this channel, It’s never a dull moment with this cast.

And that’s my list of D&D channels; I hope this helps with your quest. I really enjoyed putting this one together. So with that in mind, try to have a good rest of your shift.
