Convictions

The following convictions were reported by the Webster County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.

• Allen Scott Marcinek, 38, Strafford, plead guilty to a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). He received five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

• Daniel Vincent Lewis, 34, Strafford, plead guilty to a class B felony of manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine). As a sentence for his crime, Smith received eight years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. As a part of the sentence, he must attend and successfully complete a long-term drug treatment program.

• Donny Lee Morris, 39, Seymour, plead guilty to a class C felony of distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana). He received four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. In addition, due to probation violations on a previous case, Judge Daniel M. Knust executed Morris’ four-year prison term on a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance, which he plead guilty to in March 2005. The two four-year sentences will run concurrently.

• Bradley Lynn Hyde, 36, Seymour, plead guilty to a class B felony of manufacturing a controlled substance with the intent to distribute (marijuana). Hyde received 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. His sentence was suspended and he was placed on supervised probation for five years.

He also plead guilty to a class A misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. Hyde admitted in court to allowing a minor child to use marijuana with his knowledge. He received a 60-day sentence in the Webster County Jail. The sentence was suspended and he was placed on court-supervised probation for two years.

• Marvin T. Hathcock, 43, Marshfield, plead guilty to a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). Hathcock received a suspended imposition of sentence and was placed on probation for five years. As a condition of his probation, Hathcock must complete 120 hours of community service.

• Timothy Wayne Cantrell, 41, Niangua, was in court on Jan. 12 as a result of a probation violation. Judge Daniel M. Knust revoked Cantrell’s probation and executed his sentence of four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. In April 2004, Cantrell plead guilty of a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).
