The City of Buffalo hereby notifies all residents of the City that a hearing on the proposed rates of Ad Valorem property tax will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 at 6:45 p.m. at Buffalo Municipal Building. Citizens attending the hearing shall have the right to provide written and oral comments and ask questions concerning the proposed tax rates.
The 2024 assessed valuation for real estate property was 32,027,908.
The 2023 assessed valuation for real estate property is 30,800,696.
The tax rate for 2024 is proposed at 58.95 cents per $100 valuation for General Revenue of $188,804.52.
The tax rate for 2023 was 58.95 cents per 100 valuation for General Revenue of $181,570.11.
