PUBLIC HEARING
The Chadwick R-1 School Board is considering the use of school protection officers in order to provide additional security for our students. A public hearing will be held on August 22, 2024 at 6:15 pm in the Chadwick R-1 Board Room. School protection officers are selected faculty members who have completed the necessary requirements as established by Missouri law. Information on the duties of a school protection officer and the requirements that are necessary for a school district to permit the use of school protection officers will be provided at the meeting, including the required training and background checks. These requirements are established by Missouri Statute 160.665.
